Tea as a cake?

In China, Puerh detox tea commonly comes as a ‘cake’ – compacted dried mature tea, which has been ‘fermented’ for more than a year. It is the way the tea cake is made that influences its usage. The idea is you break off as much as you want, steep it for about 3-4 minutes for the authentic experience and a strong and earthy taste.



Our Puerh tea cakes come as 20 wrapped pellets in a little wicker basket, which can easily provide more than 120 cups of tea as water can be poured over them more than once.
